Wardstone
A self-hosted runtime for operational agents that investigate work, gather evidence, and act within deterministic, auditable permission boundaries.

My work spans infrastructure, developer platforms, and applied AI. This is where I share the tools I’m building, what I’m learning, and the occasional deep dive into how something works.
01 / Selected experiments
Things I’m building to make operational work clearer, safer, and a little less manual.
A self-hosted runtime for operational agents that investigate work, gather evidence, and act within deterministic, auditable permission boundaries.
Security readiness tooling that helps growing companies understand their compliance posture, close gaps, and respond to enterprise security reviews with confidence.
02 / Field notes
Notes from building things, following the interesting questions, and occasionally getting far too familiar with an API.
All writingWhat I have built so far in Wardstone, a self-hosted runtime for operational agents, and why its most important boundary is between reasoning and permission.
What started as people refusing to file tickets properly turned into a production Slack-to-Jira bridge with bidirectional sync, AI-assisted ticket creation, and far more knowledge of Atlassian APIs than I ever intended to acquire.
My collection of agents, skills, and workspace configuration for making agentic development more repeatable, with a focus on specification-first workflows and computer use.
I’m most useful where disciplines meet: a cloud estate that needs to become a platform, a manual process ready for automation, or an AI prototype that needs to work on an ordinary Tuesday.
I care about technology that people can understand, operate, and trust. The interesting work is making all three happen at once.
Good work starts with a conversation
I’m exploring my next chapter and take on select consulting engagements. If you have an interesting problem, I’d like to hear about it.
